Hi not sure if this Isle of Wight scent design has a name but can’t find similar on the web .
Any info would be much appreciated thanks

There are two sets of names attached to this basic design, some were made as general production and others were part of a Collector's Club Year Special, called the 4 seas. This dark iridescent pattern was used on the collector's club North Sea vase.
It came out around the time Mark's book was published, I bought my North Sea when I was at the first open day, the week after the book launch, my vase is dated 2006.
There are two bits of North Sea shown on Anton's site, both I think from the CC, given they are signed and numbered for the limited edition.

Thank you :)

I'd think that your PB might have been made after the Collector's Club ones were released. It is a lovely design. 8)
Can I assume your bottle is not signed, numbered or dated?
I have seen another colourway from the 4 seas collection, it's a lot paler and is not nearly so thickly surface decorated.
The names are all a bit confusing.
A bit more googling tells me your pb might be called Night Sea?
-
Hi , yes you are correct it is undated and unsigned having no marks underneath thanks again
-
Looking on Google I think it is called Night Sea 😊
-
It could be wrong. That one is gold coloured, not blue. It might have a different name.
The deep blue you have is Night Sea, as far as I know.
-
It says in line that it was made in gold as well for a limited time . Thanks Sue for your help 🙏😊

I can't remember all the 4 Sea names. There's Night Sea and North Sea, neither of which is the pale blue one with gold and silver foil towards the base.
It's not like IoWSG not to have different names for blue and gold versions, but it's not impossible. :)
-
It's Night Sea. The design came in both blue and gold versions: first blue and a couple of years later in gold.

;D Thanks Anton.
Do you happen to know the names of the 4 different seas in the Collector's Club versions? I can only think of North Sea. I have number 9 of the 4th version - the really tall one. I had to join the club before Tim would let me buy it. ;)
-
The 4 versions of Four Seas were called North Sea editions 1 to 4. More info here: https://iowstudioglass.wikidot.com/fourseas (https://iowstudioglass.wikidot.com/fourseas)
I have all 4 editions of North Sea and the Year Pieces in the museum collection. I haven't got round to adding pictures for them all online. I'll get to it eventually.

I had assumed there were four different "sea" designs of decor, not different sizes.
Thank-you for making it clear now. :)
Your website describes a 15cm tall stoppered bottle as Edition 4 though, which I thought was the tallest vase?
What then, is the name of the square/rectangular profiled pale blue, non iridescent one with kind of waves depicted towards the bottom, with foil?
Do you know the one I mean?
