Title: Davidson Primrose Pearline Salts
Post by: NevB on July 13, 2023, 06:57:03 PM
For show is this pair of Davidson salts from their 1904 "William and Mary" pattern. Both carry the correct RdNo. 413701 for 14/7/1903.

:) Are you going to be using them for their intended purpose? I would be. They're practical and rather dinky. Which I mean as a big compliment.  ;D

Yes Sue they are dinky at just 7cm. diameter. I don't take salt so I won't be using them for that, small sweeties maybe :)

I only ever take a tiny bit on potatoes after they are cooked, but I still have an antique salt in use. Admittedly, I think there is probably a thicker layer of dust in it than salt crystals.  ;D
But the antique salt looks good. Nothing terribly fancy, just one of the wee Monot and Stumpf ones.
