Title: Peachblow pitcher
Post by: Keeley on August 07, 2023, 04:08:38 PM
Hi! Not sure if I’m in the right place! I have a Peachblow pitcher/creamer. Satin finish with no markings on the bottom. My great aunt gave me as a gift In the late 80’s and she had had it forever. Anyone know the maker. What it is or what it’s worth?
Thanks!
Keeley

Welcome to the message board Keeley. Your pitcher looks more like an alabaster glass to me than it does peach blow (usually pink shading through to more of a yellow). Might be worth searching Steuben to see what crops up.

I don't know anything at all about American glass but it reminds me of pieces I've seen attributed to Gunderson Pairpoint.  And they seem to always list them as Gunderson Pairpoint Peachblow matt but whether that is actually correct or an internet myth I don't know.

I agree with "m' . I have seen all the different documented versions except the Italian from the 1970s. Yours most closely aligns with Gundersen Pairpoint. If a polished pontil you can probably rule out Italian.
