This is a 643 Suite "Brideshead" 8.5" salad bowl, Rd. 130643, from 13/8/1889, shown here:

is it quite an unusual find - uranium glass and such a large piece?

flying free, I think it's one of the scarcer patterns and the large uranium pieces are rarer but not unusual. Looking through the catalogue I see there are bowls going up to 13" diameter.

This pattern is more common in blue pearline, primrose is harder to find.
