Title: Lidded amethyst jar

Hi , this seems a good quality pressed mould jar with a bit of an Art Deco look , but I’m not sure about it’s age .It has a weighty stopper with a groove possibly made for a rubber washer ??.There is a decent bit of wear on the base where it rests …Any thoughts thanks …It’s 21cm ht

You can't press something where the top is narrower than the bottom because the plunger won't come out. This was blow moulded

The neck has 4 faint seams in line with the ridges on the main body .

A blowing mould often opens at the sides like a flower, hence the seams. Often, the seams are got rid of manually
