I expected to be able to identify this fairly easily but after 4 hours on the net im no wiser.
The mark is applied white paint with the mystery blank symbol inside. The bowl of the glass has a hammered finish in addition to the geometric design
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

:)
The general style of the glass, and the sort of mark does suggest '70s Reidel to me.
They changed their mark to indicate years sometimes, and back catalogues don't show every one, I don't know if the t-shape inside the paler bit is one of them, but the construction of the base, the unusual knop and the style of textured bowl do seem consistent with their output.

Many thanks for that Sue, Ill head down that road and let you know how I get on

Not Reidel I suspect from the moulded foot.

It's exactly the same foot as I've had on two different Reidel glasses. It was a feature I included as a positive one for Reidel. ;D
Found some images of one of the designs I had. This should help a bit to show where I'm coming from. :)

I wondered about Riedel too, here is a photo of the design Sue linked to, 70s I think and this looks to be of the same era.
A photo of the mark where we can see more detail might be useful.

Thanks Sue & John
I do see where your coming from although I havnt been able to establish it is Riedel for definate. The mark doesnt appear in the date marks that are available to view.
Enclosing another pic of the mark which as I said appears to be white paint applied with the T shape left blank
