Is this bowl Blenko 'Amberina', 1950s? It measures about 14 cm across at its widest and stands about 7 cm high. The pontil mark has been ground out concave. The glass is quite thin, about 2 mm, around the ruffled rim, but the base is about 5-6 mm thick. The bowl has decent weight overall given its size.
Thanks for feedback.

Blenko is pretty scarce in the UK. I would say it was more likely an English preserve dish. late 19th/early 20th C. Have you flicked it with your fingernail to see if it has a lead glass ring? And have you tested it with a UV light, as I suspect uranium in the green?

There is no ring when it is flicked with my fingernail. All it gives is a very unsatisfying dull click. I left my UV torch at the museum and haven't had opportunity to test the bowl since I have it at home.

I've zapped it with a UV light. It's not uranium glass.
