Title: Greener glass for show
Post by: essi on September 23, 2023, 03:58:27 PM
Picked this half pint mug up today as it looked quite interesting.
My knowledge of pressed glass is not that great.
I have a couple of pressed glass books but could not see an image of my glass or a date.
I would be interested to hear any comments.
The height is 110mm, four and a quarter inches.
It seems to be a three part mould and the body is a bit out of kilter with the base.
Thanks,
Tim

Greener first lion trademark 1875-85, could be an unregistered pattern, lucky you got a trademark, there’s lots of Greener items in the gallery. Mike

Thanks for the response Mike. I had a look at the gallery just now and could not see anything with the same pattern of decoration.
There was a tree branch handle like mine but quite different.
My botanical skills are not good, I cant put a name to the pattern.
Will keep looking,
Tim
