Title: Mould blown hand worked flared rim vase
Post by: Keith M on October 08, 2023, 02:27:58 PM
Hi
Picked up this nice vase a couple of weeks ago browsing charity shops. My first thought was Thomas Webb fircone or conifer pattern. Because I discovered it was unmarked I'm having trouble with an ID. It's hand worked and has a large polished pontil and is a light brown or treacle colour. It's approx 25cm or just under 10 inches tall and about the same across the rim.
Haven't found a similar one  online yet so any help with maker, approximate manufacture dates etc, would be appreciated.
Thanks
Keith

That's my thinking, but there seems to be a lack of good reference material, unless I'm looking in the wrong places.
Cheers
