Title: Victorian Glass Comport Uranium.
Post by: NevB on October 24, 2023, 06:15:05 PM
I thought this would be a Sowerby piece but it's not in the catalogues and there's nothing with the same pattern. It's 7" wide and 4.5" tall.

I checked an Edward Moore catalogue from the 1880’s there were some close similarities with the pattern and top rim edge but I couldn’t find an exact match. Looks very much like it’s from the North East. Mike

Thanks Mike, I looked at the Moore comport, it's a pity there's no top view to check the pattern.
