Title: Asking for help identifying these rummer glasses
Post by: xrebelx on November 18, 2023, 08:47:57 PM
Hello everyone.

So I have three (actually four but one seems to have its stem replaced?) romer glasses that I just can not find any info about.
Bought them at a flea-market in Sweden but if they are Swedish I do not know..

Height about 17cm and weighs between 160-180g.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks !

So as the imagesize seems to be quite limited for posts in this forum I have uploaded many more to my google drive folder which can be accessed with this link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Qk8dKWW-47VUx77VOQ8Amb4pqVzUZpJ8?usp=sharing (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Qk8dKWW-47VUx77VOQ8Amb4pqVzUZpJ8?usp=sharing)

White wine rummers in the German style were made by many many companies and it is rare to get a firm attribution.  They date from ca. 1850-1920. One company who made similar is Holmagaard, but possibly they are German imports. Ehrenfeld could be, or Lübeck. They could also be from Sweden or Finland. Or anywhere in Bohemia.
