Title: engraved glass goblet need help with identification

 water goblet , engraved birds , beautiful floral motive
6 inch high ,3 inch diameter top and 3 inch diameter base
 any idea of make , age stile or anything please

I'm not sure but it appears to etched glass rather than engraved, the sort of thing made by several American companies, Cambridge, Imperial and Fostoria for example.

Yes, the design is acid etched using a process similar to this description of plate etching from a Cambridge Glass Company brochure:

As far as I know, your glass is as likely to be English as from anywhere else, the ‘special type of transfer paper' used by Cambridge Glass in their description was imported from England.
