Title: Attenuated neck vase

Bought this vase today without having any idea of a manufacturer or country of origin.
To my eye, a nice shape and colour.
It is 380mm tall 100mm diameter at its widest point and weighs 1.1kgs.
There is a small amount of wear to a ground flat rim on the base.
The quality of the work on the vase and the colouring technique seem very good.
Would love to know a bit more about it.

Are those golden bubbles? In which case you may be looking at Schleiergraphitglas from Peill & Pützler, circa 1960s.

Thanks for your reply Ivo. I looked on the GMB search feature and one of the schleiergraphitglas examples had a very similar base as my example.
On google images i could not see any light colour examples of that type of glass.
There was mention of a Peill and Putzler catalogue and CD i will look later and see if they are still available.
On the close up photo it seems to be a gold ring around a yellow background.
I will keep looking.

Perhaps not schleiergraphit itself, but still possibly P&P and perhaps Horst Tusselmann?
I do have a large (marked) Unikat P&P charger with a mass of graphite-surrounded small bubbles and big gold filled bubbles, in the base.

Completely off topic, but I have an id to report to Ivo.  8)
Do you remember the little studio glass bottle with the "knot" in the neck you gave me? It's by Ahmed Fouad, Alexandria.
Funnily enough, I already had two other small pieces he made. I bought them in Germany.

Good, that must have taken years of research.
In my experience all P&P pieces are stamped, so not so likely. And if it should be a Meydam it should be scribbled on the bottom with full sigs and numbers. The model is very FM-ish, though. But you never know - some Unica left the factory via the back door....

Thanks for the feedback. After looking at the Leerdam images the shapes seem to be similar to mine.
The closest to my shape are designed by Siem van der Marel for Leerdam.
None of the images i have seen have the same technique of colouration as my example.
Would love to think it was a Leerdam unica item.
