Hi, picked this up recently as I thought it was by Gillie Jones but it isn't. Anybody recognise the signature?
Description:
The bowl is an open cup in shape and is blown in colourless glass enhanced by waves of pink. It measures 23 cm (9.2 inches) in width at the wavy rim. It ends in a small clear glass foot, and on which are etched the signature of the artist and the date "'98". The bowl is 11 cm (4.4 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. It weighs in at 805 g. (~ 1 lb. 12 oz.).

The third word could read Kastrup, oddly the first two look like "mark worn", surely it couldn't be someone has added this later to identify it. The number might be something other than 98 and I can't find a Kastrup designer with a similar name.

Hello Nev, I think you are right about the Kastrup part. It may perhaps not refer to the company but to the location (Kastrup is a suburb of Copenhagen as I'm sure you know). The characters before it appear to be in the same hand so I would assume it was all done at the same time. I'll do some more research now that you've given me the lead I need. Thanks so much, Neil
