Title: Art Glass Bottle with applied copper/bronze crusting, signed - any idea who?
Post by: ian the sculptor on August 11, 2024, 02:02:40 PM
I couldn't resist this piece. Art glass bottle with applied textured/crusting in copper or bronze. It is signed but I can't decipher it. It measures 9.5 inches tall.  Has anyone seen anything to match it, or any idea of the glass artist?

Thanks
Ian

There's a thread here which contains a few links to artists and some speculation about this style of decor on glass.

Thanks Sue, but I'm not sure they fit. They seem a different style altogether. This is more abstract, more contemporary. But I appreciate the suggestions. Thanks.

All the best
Ian

I did another search of Sticlart and a few bits by Filip Ravert turned up, which are not fishy.   ;)

Ioan Nemtoi is another name that I know.
I do like this style, most seems to be Romanian although the more famous artists have moved to other countries.
