I had a few back in the day and flogged the lot to a GMB member in Canada  -  here's the first I've seen for couple of years.    They mimic a full size bottle, but the capacity measure/engraved line is usually quite obvious  -  I suspect they're for wine, but not sure, and not entirely sure about date either  -  first third of C20 perhaps ??           This one is c. 13.5 cms. tall, and they don't of course have stoppers.
