Made an interesting find whilst wondering around a local car boot recently. Found this tiny glass which I assume was meant for cordial or liqueur type drink. I think it's probably early ish 19th century due to the slightly wonky 3 piece construction, snapped pontil, striations, bubbles etc. It was originally I think part of a larger suite of glasses as it has been wheel engraved with a basic grape and vine design.
It's 9cm or about 3 1/2" tall.
Anyone come across anything similar?
Cheers
Keith

Hi, these glasses are quite common and are 19th century as you say. Is yours soda glass? They normally are and originate from the Continent I believe. Kind regards

Hi Neil
Do think it maybe soda glass, it seems light even for its size. Also the way the foot tim is finished is not a British thing as far as I'm aware.

gorgeous stem and foot design. If it was bigger it would be perfect for a nice glass of wine :)
