Title: Scottish glass vase
Post by: wiggy131 on August 26, 2024, 04:24:51 PM
Hello, I would love to know if this piece is Vasart?
What age, shape and colour description this would be,
Best Wishes

That base finish does not say Vasart to me, maybe take a look at Nazeing as well.

It's not a Vasart base finish. I'm not too sure about the rather solid texture of the colour either.
I was a little taken aback with the applied foot, because that does look like an Ysart applied foot, but I don't know if any feet were applied during their Vasart period, which was rather a lean time.
