Hello, me again :D OK I've got this brilliant bowl - thick, chunky and plenty of wear with a Per Lutken type off-centre/asymmetrical opening and a printed flower type mark to the base (shown in last photo) - any input would be gratefully received. TIA

The mark reminds me of a propellor, but I've never seen it before Pip.
-
I'm reasonably sure the mark is from Skruf, although I've never seen it confirmed in print.
-
I know Anne - it's weird, I've never seen one before either. I've had this bowl for over a year and not seen another piece of glass with the same mark.
Cheers Ivo, Skruf you say - well that gives me a direction to go off and start looking at. If I find anything conclusive I'll report back here.
:-)

Pip, I have seen a couple of items for sale over here, with the same mark.
They were both smoke glass too.
If I can find them again, I will post a link. :)
-
I've seen that mark a few times too... I just can't for the life of me remember where! :x

I'm reasonably sure it was something more akin to Pip's dish. It was probably something I'd spotted on eBay which looked like misrepresented Holmegaard from the thumbnail photo.

Nic, was it described as a 'Rare Holmegaard gull-dish'? LOL

Hi Pip,
One has just come up for sale again here (http://koopjes.marktplaats.nl/antiek_en_kunst/antiek_vazen/55293695.html?return=eJw1ytEKgjAYBeB3EfRycyohGyL1IrJq5Njchv9vmdG7t1XenPMdOJIz%2FtK8FMDZoeXZefYPUGJEDJxS44NyZJKzwWClRCDOUulQKzMoN5jFAe77Ljfl6IU1ZMTJ9qFjhb59A7q2LFYbfYUOfV4fWV6fLNtRJTRJGLXpkLhGpn7%2BOiz%2FtwcdVWXi%2FQHWzjpa#photo) same mark, but again, there is no id
-
gosh well spotted Della! This mark's a bit of a mystery but I reckon we'll nail it eventually. I'll keep my eye on that Dutch auction in the meantime though :-) Cheers

Hi Pip,
I have just found another piece, which someone may recognise, with the same mark on the base. This time it isn't smoked glass.
You can see it here (http://antiek-kunst.marktplaats.nl/curiosa/59756967-gemerkt-glazen-karafje.html?return=eJw1yssOgjAQheF3IYEdlEIwpqQx%2BiYVG2la2klniKjx3W29bM7%2FLY4SXDyNaEcUfNeL4hzDDfU4E4FgzAbQvllUtAROKcLGO6Y8GW1r7Wu7eiQ2rdEEVGziQzPT4g4geWWun0G5b6vNJV9QUij7Iy%2F7k%2BN%2FdBlDFiU9DGRuibn3b2H9vQOapK4YX2873jfq#photo)

 gosh well spotted Della (wondering if you have bionic eyes) - this is the same as the piece Ivo has posted - even the ringed stopper is the same!
-
 Doh!
I didn't think to re-read the post and re-check the photos first.
Oh well, at least you know that I am still looking for answers to this dilemma

:-) it's all very useful Della and very much appreciated - I'm sure with your eagle eyes we'll get to the bottom of this little mystery.
