Hi all!
I recently bought a vase that I suspect to be designed by Charles Graffart for Val Saint Lambert.
I searched in some catalogues but I can’t find this vase. Do you recognise it or are you able to tell me when it was made?
I think the cut style and petrol blue colour are characteristic for VSL.
Let me know you thoughts! Isn’t it beautiful

Hi and welcome
It's a lovely vase.
I don't know much about VSL at all, but it is a colour I associate with Caesar Crystal.
However having looked on their site at current stock of vases I couldn't see anything in this type of design. Their cut designs seem to my eye to be all a little less graphic and a bit more 'small decorative multi cuts' cutting for want of a better description.
Is this a direct match to a colour VSL used to do?
Oh - I've just seen this one in what seems to be the same colour but is marked:

It just seems a good match to Caesar Crystal colour. It could be worth emailing them to ask as there are a number of designs without pictures on their site though they do have 63 pages of vases!
I had a look a Ajka Crystal as well but that doesn't seem to be one of their colours.
Link to their site here where you will find quite a few vases in that colour:

and could we see a pic of the top showing the rim and also the base please?
And what height is your vase in cm?
-
It is 21.5cm high
There are no etchings indicating the maker on it.

I've had a look through the VSL catalogues but can't find a match. It might possibly be by one of several Czech companies in the Haida region or the German company Nachtmann.
