Title: Almost got excited!

Clearing up some "artefacts" of a past life, I came across this vase which was destined to go to eBay as Monart..........alas, after perusal of Frank's catalogue of shapes, it doesn't exist.

It's got a "Monart-like" ground pontil but the galss is a bit thin and it rings nicely. Is a deliberate attempt to deceive or is it just nice art glass?

About 8cm high.

It is possibly Webb Corbett, sometime signed. Same period as Monart also found with blue ground.

Still exciting though!
