Title: murano bird maybe , vaseline glass ?

would i be correct in calling this vaseline glass  , and is the bird murano  . thanks

The link below for the Murano Zoo site may not work but you may be able to find it somewhere. At the bottom of P.4 of the Archimede Seguso section there is a labelled duck very similar to yours so I think it can be attributed to that company. The term vaseline glass has different meanings depending on which side of the Atlantic you are. I would call it opalescent glass.

Nice. It may be uranium glass on the outside, which is referred to as vaseline glass if yellow and you are in the USA (mostly). A photo in sunlight would help

i took it into a dark cupboard but it doesnt glow in the dark

Uranium glass doesn't glow in the dark. It glows bright green under UV, so either from sunlight or a 395 UV torch (365 torches give too many false positives IMO)
