Title: Help with Sowerby set
Post by: guycunningham1995 on June 09, 2025, 03:52:19 PM
I saw this Sowerby Jug with Tumblers on eBay. I was aware that they had green, blue, clear and amber sets but was unaware of pink sets. Does anyone know anything about this?

They also made the colour "Rosalin" mentioned here in the 1938 catalogue

Thank you for sharing that catalogue, it’s funny how there are so many Sowerby things that have fallen through the cracks - and fantastic to have confirmation that my elephant tray is part of the elephant suite M

If you go to the victorianpressedglass.com home page there are lots of other catalogues. I've looked through them a lot but not noticed the elephant tray and haven't seen one elsewhere. It could be quite rare.
