Title: Uranium vase + engraved animals, Scandi?

I have a feeling I'm never going to find out who made this vase, but maybe discovering it's got a good Uranium content will narrow it down a bit?

6" diameter spherical vase, deeply engraved with a monkey, a rooster, 2 rams (head-butting each other), and a horse.

I thought Scandinavian, but it's just so wacky I'm not sure where it comes from!  :lol:

Edit: Have discovered this vase exists in blue colourway too. Andy McConnell has one; he'd be interested in more information on it too.

Any ideas??

Nope.  I think Andy has a designer in mind for it, but don't think he's 100% about it.
