I just had to show you this curiosity: a calibrated measuring glass by S. Maw & Sons & Thomson, made somewhere after 1870 (when Thompson joined Maw).  The company specialised in medical and pharmaceutical supplies, surgical instruments, microscopes etc.


I was going to ask something but I think google answerd all questions - :roll:  :roll:  :roll:
