Title: A set of four small Carnival glass bowls
Post by: Tigerchips on October 19, 2006, 11:58:29 PM
I seem to be having difficulty identifying this one. The textured pattern looks like hundreds of little stars made from lines. The iridescence is barely visable and virtually impossible to see on one of the bowls. It measures 5 inches diameter.

They should put a horses head in the middle just to make it easier for me to identify.

It's a European piece that collectors call "Stippled Waves".

(If they were very foamy waves then they could be white horses, TC!   )

I didn't get the joke.  :?

If the horses were foaming at the mouth they'd be Crazy Horses, meow, meow.

first look at it is Walther NORA but I have to dig the catalogues for that again and again and again - we have had it here previously, didn't we??
