Here is a pretty little thing, I presume it is another piece of Bohemian etched glass, but what would it have been used for? Or just decorative? It is just 2.5 ins to the top of the handle.
Any ideas?

That's pretty! :D Would it ever have had a lid, do you think? If so, I'd say jam, honey or something like that.

No rim or ledge Leni, so I assume not, and the handles curve inwards so would impede putting a lid on and off. Also its a bit too small, the diameter of the opening is only 1.75 ins 45 mm. Bit small for jam or even salt for that matter.
I wondered about a tooth pick holder? But they don't usually have handles do they?

Pass the salt please, or maybe the mustard. Plenty big enough for an individual, rather than a master salt.

I think they don't usually, but the handles are quite decorative, so maybe they're there just for that reason! :D

That's true. I feel a lengthy "it could be this or it could be that" listing description coming on!!
