Title: Art Deco Jadeite Czech Vases
Post by: mhgcgolfclub on November 12, 2006, 10:11:23 PM
I have a pair of Czech Art Deco vases , you see the vases quite often in various colours, this is the 1st time I have seen them in Jadeite , there was a Walther Winsor vase recently on ebay which did not sell because it was a later copy made in jadeite, are these vases a later copy of the original vase, they do not glow under a UV light

Well they look identical to my green uranium one from here, but I've never seen them in jadeite either. Mine, interestingly has neither ground feet nor top. I assume it's top finished by heat though because of the slight assymetry. Yours do appear to less well finished because the little bits of overflow at the mould joins don't look as though they've been removed. I would probably vote Post War, but that's only a thought
