Title: Is this Aseda?
Post by: lyndhurst44 on November 14, 2006, 07:28:37 PM
Hi,
I was given this bud vase on the weekend by a Boot sale dealer after I obtained a Hummel figure for him. It really is a nice piece in sea green or turquoise and perfect, not even the obligitory scratch. It has a tricorn foot.  I don't know the maker. I was edging towards Aseda but I could'n't find it on Vidfletch's site. Any ideas please?.

Thanks Sharon and welcome.
That's the second piece of Sea Glasbruk I have then, the other one is 6" tall oblong shaped blue with a celtic type raised symbol on each of it's 4 sides. That one still has the sticker. Brilliant!!
Please take a look.

Hi Sharon,
I just scoured Ebay completed items to see if I could find the vase from my original message to see that one has been recently sold, I won't say by whom  but the amazing part is that it was sold to a friend of mine who lives in the Cardiff area. Not the same vase as mine I hasten to add but isn't it a Small World
