I'm positive this is Murano but the canes are very distinctive. Would anyone know what specific maker produced this?

These paperweights are made by Fratelli Toso of Fondamenta Colleoni n. 7
30141 Murano (Venice, Italy).

The cube-like, blockish millefiori are usually formed into flower petals, leaves, fruits, vegetables, or a field of grass. Fratelli Toso's paperweights are quite unique. Once you know who made this style, you can easily identify their work. I've always found their glass pieces to be wonderful examples of the Muranese paperweight craft.

:D Looks like I happened across a good one! It just looked like a quality piece to me so I nabbed it.

I have another weight I got a while back that has a felt and foil label on the base that reads Antica Murrina Veneziana. Is that the same Antica as Antica Vetreria Fratelli Toso? This weight has really high quality canes.

Posting a photograph would be beneficial. Looking at the paperweight herein is really the best way for anyone to ID the maker.

This is a newer piece I got within the last ten years. I can't recall exactly when. Again it was the nice relatively 'unsquished' canes that grabbed my eye.

Did some poking around in older threads and it appears that the second weight was by 3 Fiori.

So much to learn!

I found another Fratelli Toso last week. Same grape cluster canes and white ground. The leaves are different.

I read the suggestion somewhere on this board that when collecting Murano it is a good idea to find which studios one particularly liked and to specialize in those. I think I found mine.
