Title: Baccarat scent bottle question
Post by: bigdog on December 05, 2006, 10:18:07 PM
I have the oppurtunity to by a Baccarat scent bottle.  The problem is I have no pictures.  It has the round Baccarat logo on the bottom, it is about 8" tall with stopper.  I think it is considered double overlay.

In order to describe it:  Lot number 2010 has a paperweight with the same treatment except it is cobalt blue.

It has Millefiori canes that you can see through the windows on both the stopper and the bottom of the piece.

Like I said I can't find anything like it.   It has a broken dobber.  What I want to know is what would be a fair price?

I know that this is a little difficult, but I thought I would throw it out to you.

Baccarat sells as a luxury item until it hits the second market when it becomes just another good quality but damaged glass. Value accordingly, very low.
