Hi,
I'm a total newbie so excuse the "technical terms" I use! ;D
I recently bought this glass apple in Vienna, Austria. The dealer had no clue.
It is about 12cm by 12 cm (about 4 inches) top to bottom and across. The colouring is on the inside of the apple meaning there is a clear layer of glas over the colour. Small bubles are visible in the glass (presumably a sign of bad quality???) The stem has a rough tip to it and I initially thought it had been broken but it is clear that the roughness was left when the molten glass was cut by the manufacturer. Not a clue if it is even collectable but I just loved the colours and the way it looks!
Any help with manufacutrer or even pointers of where on the web I can look for more info would be great.

May be better to post this in the Paperweight section? Emmi

Hi,
Not a paperweight as it is to light to be one as it is hollow/blown glass. Also the size makes it too big for a paperweight. Must have been made as an ornament.

Thanks Frank,
I had a look on their site; looks similar but unfortunately not the same.
Anybody got an idea where I can start to look for more info? I have checked everywhere for some kind of manufacturers mark but could find nothing, to be honest I couldnt care if it was made yesterday but I want to know who made it!! ;D Afterall I bought it because I liked how it looked
Thanks
