Post by: JC on January 15, 2007, 12:16:11 AM
I have had this vase in my possession for awhile now and have finally decided to part with it  via eBay.I notice    on Chris and Val Stewart's Cloud Glass website they have what looks to be the same. They mention knowns colours but no mention of blue.So this has me wondering if mine is the same. ???This stands approx 5 inches tall.Any and all thoughts welcomed

Hi,
Your posy is probably Davidson. However, a couple of continental manufactures also made this design, although I'm not sure if any made them in this quatrefoil shape.

Davidson made glass in two different shades of blue in the 18th century (not counting blue pearline). One was a deep poison bottle blue and the other a paler blue.
