Hi,
I've had this for a while and wondered if anybody could identify -
http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-4635 (http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-4635)
Approx. 9cm high
I saw another one on a stand at a fair a while ago, labelled as Henry Greener, but I haven't been able to find confirmation anywhere else. I can't find a mark on it.
While the rim was being formed it looks to have split open along one of the mould lines ??? It was made in a four part mould.
Many thanks for any help!

I can't help with the origin of this piece but the defect looks like what we called "not up". This was commonly the result of there not being quite enough glass delivered to the mould or, with complex shapes like this one, the glass became too stiff to move further before it had quite filled all the nooks and crannies. It would be just coincidence if the defect happened to be on a mould joint.

Hi Adam,
Now I've looked at the vase again, your description of the defect makes sense ;D
Thanks!
