Title: Anchor Hocking Milk Bottle or Carafe??
Post by: sarsi on January 25, 2007, 10:46:25 PM
Okay guys, I'm very very new to this glass stuff!! You can search for my name if you want to answer some easy questions!!  ;D Does anyone have any info on this Anchor Hocking Milk Bottle or Carafe? The front has a drum and drumsticks and says 1776*1976....And what is the deal with the big ridge going across the bottom? Has the anchor with the H logo...

Easy (but not necessarily complete) answers my specialty:

These carafes were made for the US Bicentennial in 1976  by A.H. (all obvious so far), in a range of motifs including your drums, the Liberty Bell and an American Eagle:

I'd imagine there'd be more as well.
