Title: Murano bowl, Fratelli Toso?
Post by: Tigerchips on January 29, 2007, 08:16:49 PM
It has gold inclusions (I think that's the right term) inside the glass. It also has a Millenium Falcon shape.  ;D Perhaps a shell shape then? I like the way the wavy pattern is formed.

Is it made by Fratelli Toso? It's a lovely piece and I only paid £2.50 for it after being reduced for clearance.

It's just over 7 inches long.

Hi Tony,
I have seen these pieces with the rectangular red and gold Venetian Glass label "Vetro Artistico Veneziano."
