Just putting together the labels section of my site, and I've just realised that I have sold the only 2 items I had bearing a pair of specific labels and I lost the decent close-up photographs of them with the death of my hard drive. :(
These are the ones I'm after: Image (http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b108/pinkspoons/1950sexport.jpg)
They were used on trans-Atlantic export pieces, and so that's probably where they'll still reside, so please think of the poor little Brit up to his eyeballs in html, American members, if you have a rummage through your glass collection anytime soon - i just need a sharp close-up image the same size or thereabouts as the one I've linked to above. ;D
On the off-chance that anyone is interested, I've so far found 18 different Holmegaard and Kastrup labels. :o

Oops - meant to put this in the Cafe!

I think your posting is fine in Glass Nic, it's research after all. Not much good to you if it falls off the Cafe listings! :)

Ah, you're probably right, Max. Maximum visability and all that. ;D
But I just keep getting the feeling that I'm flooding the board with Holmegaard threads that nobody's really too interested in... :-[

I personally find them very interseting, Nic.
I only have 4 pieces of Holmegaard, with 6 Atlantic glasses on the way (all with labels). I have also just bought the book: Kastrup & Holmegaard's Glassworks 1825-1975.
So, keep 'em coming!!! ;D

I've been hunting that book for a while, but everytime I find it for sale online it's either already been sold and the site hadn't been updated or it's rediculously expensive - so let me know if there's anything interesting in it. ;D

Nic,
Check your e-mail. Hope that helps.

Marcus

Just spied some glass on eBay bearing a near-mint set of the labels in question. Shame the same can't be said for the glass they're on.... but I long ago reached the absurd point of buying glass for the paper bits glued to it. ;D
