Pressed glass ashtray with leaf decoration
« on: April 28, 2007, 09:51:50 PM »
I've looked everwhere for this, I thought it might be English but can't find it. I checked the early Sowerby catologue, Bagley book, English pressed glass book, Pamela's site (ashtrays section and the English section) and a few English pressed glass sites but found nothing.

I assume it's a small ashtray rather than a salt. The grooves on the side might be for lighting a match. It measures just over 5 inches.

Thank's, Tony.

Tony, it might be worth looking at Marcus's site, just a hunch :)
