Vase with two clear handles

Hi
   Can any one tell me the style of this vase, and whom made it, the handles have very fine lines to them  bit of fluteing round the neck it stands 10ins high, weigh's 873g that is 1lb 14 3/4oz if the weight will help in finding out where this vase came from cheers

My mother has one of these too Steve, and I've always thought it was Italian, Empoli/Florence area, not Murano. Maybe Ivo can confirm for you.
