Topic: Owl dish - id = Dartington, Frank Thrower, blinking good

Another owl, but on a dish this time.  I think of both these owls as Scandinavian, but I am not sure why.  Probably I am wrong

I never did get an id for this dish that I posted back in April, and it is still sitting on my desk looking at me waiting for a label  :mus:

Does anyone have any ideas at all?

It's a Dartington Frank Thrower FT132/O "Blinking good" owl ashtray first produced in 1982. The later reproductions had cigarette slots

Is the "blinking good" an assessment or a title for this dish?   :huh:

I have just been googling but I can't find a site that mentions it, does anyone know one please?

Totally different to this Pukeberg owl - but similar enough for me to dig it out. The Pukeberg owl has no ears, no legs, different surface and stands upright. It also isn't marked. Added just for the comparison.
