Wavy edged clear bowl
« on: October 22, 2009, 04:53:00 PM »
Once I got this home I put oven cleaner on it as it was thick with grime and here is the end result but unfortunately I cannot seem to locate any info on it.  Grapes and foliage pattern embossed on the underside.  Any one out there that could kindly direct me please.

I forgot to mention that there is also a few trapped airbubbles but not many and there is also a crease imperfection on one of the curves of the rim.

One the same in pink, one similar in white - both unknown, I'm afraid  :-X

Surely not Brockwitz.

My thoughts are that they are post 1950 or even younger. Possibly made in France?

Thanks Pamela,  I admittedly didn't go through the unknowns a bit daft I know as I normally do. It was purchased here in France but obviously that accounts for nothing.  I also thought France late last night but only because of the subject matter. (grapes and vines).  Think I will have another bash at it today whilst the sprogs are in school.  Thanks again will post if I find anything.

really annoying isn't it when you can't ID a piece, you spend hours searching, give up then about 6 months later you find it whilst looking for something else  ;D
