Hi all
I picked this up a few weeks back thinking it may be easy to find (always the first mistake)
It stands at 12cms tall, 7.25 rim diameter, 7cms foot diameter and weighs 250g
Its made from clear glass (nice feel, well made) the glass has what I describe as hand beaten metal texture, with a ring of (for want of a better word) protruding dimples, halfway down the glass.
The foot is applied to the base of the body of the glass with a large round knop, and it has a thick large foot (0.5cm thick). A little wear but nothing significant.
The rim is slightly uneven with small bumps and rounded (not ground and polished)
The base is slightly convex increasingly so towards the middle.
It is quite similar to a vase I put on a few weeks back. I've taken a picture of the 2 together, there are subtle differences between the styles though, the dimples on the vase are much larger and rounder, the glass is much thicker and not quite as fine feeling, & slightly more tinged in colour. I've also added a link to the original discussion on the vase

Any ideas on a maker/country
many thanks
Michelle

Skruf as far as I know. We've had a similar query not so long ago.
