Unusual oval glass butter type dish very heavy lead glass

Unusual oval glass butter type dish very heavy lead glass great deal of cutting too sides and saw/teeth rim where lid sits. The top is very wonkily made as per pictures should imagine quite an old piece. Large oval pontil to base. Wondering if its possible to tell what sort of date and if british or not??please!! thankyou.
