Topic: Identification help please? Italian maybe??

Could someone please help me with the identification of this vase? My husband bought it at auction, because I liked it & we didn't pay alot for it & I'm not expecting "the find of the century" :rah:, but I have looked & looked & looked & can't find anything similar. It was sold as "possibly Italian" but I'm not sure. It's very heavy & is very striking. Any clues would be appreciated....even if they do say "Ikea"  :cry:

Hiya, it's hard to tell from the tiny pic, but it looks a bit like some of the modern Chinese vases that have been mentioned on this board a few times.  I'll see if I can find one of the threads...

Yes :-) It's very very similar, but the lines on mine are not as thick :-) It's very lovely & nothing like the cheap & nasty copies of things that I normally see & attribute to the Chinese & so I can definitely say that they are getting better at making glass we can appreciate :-)

They certainly are Cindy, there is definitely some good quality Chinese glass around these days.
