Large air twist candle stick holder, very nice. Scandi or other
« on: February 23, 2011, 11:23:52 AM »
Hi all
another inidentified piece i am trying to pin down.
This piece has been well made, it has a brown top and bottom (very scandi 1970's colour reminds me of Holmegaard colouring) with a clear central stem which has 4 very well exicuted bubble spirals running from top to bottom.
The top rim is ground and polished very well. The base is concave with signs of wear, where it makes contact.
It stands at 25cm tall, 8.5cm across the rim and 9.75cm across the base.
I am pretty sure ive seen something similar here recently but am struggling to find the thread.
Any ideas on a maker or where ive seen it before
many thanks
michelle
