Topic: Modern Acid etched marked!on a UFO vase?? - ID = Royal Doulton Crystal

Ive had this a couple of years and never turned up anything for the mark thats etched to the base im guessing a recent modern piece but it just bugs me not knwing the maker!! Quite a weighty piece and is a sort of steel blue similar to stennett wilsons it measures 2.5" tall and 5.5" wide and seems a very styish modern design a bit like a UFO!!!HAHA. :smg:

It is important to note that this is a sandblasted mark. It has characteristic features, pitting and use of a stencil. Acid etching is usually done with a stamp so continuous lines. This helps in dating as sandblasting marks replaced acid etching for health and safety reasons, plus cost, in the 1970s/80s period.
