Mdina bell vase show and tell
« on: May 10, 2011, 07:43:01 PM »
This arrived today and it is stunning. It's a bell vase from Mdina with a swirling pattern in yellow ochres made sometime between 1968 and 1972. 6½ inches tall, the same wide (16.5cm) so quite a big beast. This kind of pattern can be found in various colours and is often described as 'Rosenthal'.

It wasn't difficult, it was accurately described on that well known auction site......

Thanks though, I am basking in it's glory. :sun:
