Sea Polyp Dish
« on: January 19, 2012, 09:46:59 PM »
does anyone recognise this dish?

it's about 6" at the widest point. The thickness of the glass varies quite a bit, especially in the middle where it forms a bump.
The design is like a sea polyp.

There is a tool mark at one end that adds asymmetry.

The pontil appears to have been cut. It is smooth but seems to uneven to have been ground.  The area immediately surrounding the pontil is depressed.
