Scandanavian, Italian or Chinese?
« on: February 09, 2012, 06:36:52 AM »
I picked this little amethyst vase up. Stands about 15 cm high.  It was the top that attracted me to it and it looks familiar but I cannot think nor find why.  The base is flat with a concave centre about 1.5cm in diameter.  Around the concave centre is what I thought was writing but it as a rough finish rim. The rim of the base has superficial scratches from use.   And starters for searching would be great. Thanks

Base shot? Looks like it's missing a stopper

I suspect it is Chinese.  They are very common here in op-shops in Melbourne.  Never seen a label and they are always at the low end of prices.

I thought as much and thanks.  It has been redonated.
