Topic: Anyone good with glue?

Was hoping this was a Webb footed bowl in red,broken pontil mark,clear foot with the 'square' pattern when seen from above,scratched and lopsided when bought,a bit worse since I knocked the bag over it was in

It is sitting on the "deaths" column after all. 
These things happen Keith. 
The more glass one handles, the higher the liklihood of breakages; it's just an ocassional (maddening) hazard of the occupation of collecting.
My sympathy.

the worst bit is it had survived until you got your hands on it.

the guilt trip is awful, I know 

hubby insisted on wrapping a webb piece up in his t shirt as extra packing last year as he cringed every time I swung the carrier bag when  i walked. later when we were home he shook his t shirt out with a flourish - unfortunately the webb glass was still in it and we watched as it sailed across the room and smashed on the floorboards

yes, sympathies really Keith.           Is it known if T/Webb did red - also did they leave pontil scars?  -  don't think I've seen either, but am sure you have more Webb material than me.         I can see the optic pattern which looks typical, and know they did produce some pieces with clear feet under coloured bodies.
Obviously no backstamp.

Thanks all.couldn't throw it out,I didn't notice the 'death column' underneath,weird; never seen Webb piece in red with clear foot before,it came from a house clearance around a mile from the old Webb factory.There were 4 other pieces of glass in the bag and a porcelain headed doll only this one broke!

Perhaps an unusual piece, Keith, but it's not the end of the world... it still comes a bit into the general category of "one of those things you stick a dangling Beswick cat on and a Beswick mouse (if you can find one) inside". 

Glueing would be a disaster. There isn't room for glue to get inbetween all the bits to hold them together - it would be all lumpy and bumpy with bits sticking out all over the place. Looking at the bits will only compound your guilt. Bin. Now.

The bin would probably be the most sensible place for it but not being sensible I'll have a go with the glue and see what comes out,Frankensteins monster? have already cut myself

Taken the good advice and it's in the bin,more bubble wrap next trip!
